Vape recycling has changed.
Since August 2025, vapes and electronic cigarettes have been classified separately as WEEE Category 15, with their own recovery and recycling targets. From 12 August 2026, a new national protocol applies when treatment operators issue Category 15 evidence, creating more specific accounting and evidence requirements around treated vape waste.
Hayvin is built for this new environment. We combine visible retail collection points, managed processing and estate-wide reporting, helping retailers modernise how vape and small-electronics takeback is handled.
